Here comes the bride...

Wedding date, check!

Ceremony and reception venue, check!

Mirror Lake Lyceum.

There are so many details to plan...

Getting married!

We got engaged late one night while we were away on our boat.
Tobin was so nervous and he couldn't find the ring box he had hid behind the tool box in a cabinet beside the bed.
So he put the toolbox on my lap.

After finding the ring, he realized it had fallen out of place in the box. By now I'd figured out what was going on so I was hyperventilating when he turned around and asked me to marry him.
I could barely get out the words, "Of course!"

Hockey Pucks and Love.

Would you say there is ever one moment when you fall in love? Or is it a series of moments over time? Does it continue or do you just maintain a level of loving someone once it has occured?

I will say that Tobin's love of hockey is exponential. I see it ignite and catch fire in him every time he plays or watches it or talks about it. It's one of the many things I love about him and when I see his big shit eating grin after the Caps score a goal I feel all warm inside and I know I love him more and more every single day.

Second date.

(this is a re-creation)

Tobin is one of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life and I knew that within the first few days of meeting him.

First picture together.

Where do we go from here?

Our first date. We ate sushi and had awkward conversation at Jackson's Bistro in Tampa.
Followed by our first kiss in the parking garage.

Romantic.

In the beginning...

We were just two. I was standing outside the back door of Courigan's Irish Pub on a very, very windy St. Patrick's Day 2008. That's when Tobin walked up still dressed in his work clothes at one in the morning.

Later we fall in love, but I'll get to that...

Could it be the luck of the Irish/Jewish?
